Peloidotherapy
What is Peloidotherapy?
Peloidotherapy (mud/clay therapy) is a thermal treatment method in which mineral-rich natural mud, clay or peat is heated and applied to the body. The absorption of heat and minerals through the skin supports relaxation and the repair process in the tissues.
What is Peloidotherapy Used For?
- Rheumatic diseases and joint inflammation
- Muscle spasms and chronic muscle pain
- Joint complaints related to osteoarthritis
- Circulation problems and general fatigue
How is Peloidotherapy Applied?
Heated mineral mud is applied to the area to be treated at a certain thickness and left in place for a while. During this time, heat and minerals penetrate the tissue, after which the mud is cleaned off. At ROMMER International this application can be combined with our center's natural thermal water source. The frequency of sessions is determined according to the patient's condition.
