Clinical Psychologist

Biography

She was born in 1991 in Bursa. She completed her secondary education at TED Bursa
College by involving in International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
She graduated from Psychology department (English- 50% scholarship) as a high honour
student in 2014. She made a presentation about “The effects of attachment style of mothers in
her parenting style and romantic relationship” with two colleguages at the 19th National
Congress of Psychology Students. This study was elected as competition notification in
congress.
In 2017, she got a master’s degree in Psychology (Adult Oriented) at Okan University and
receive a title as “Specialist Psychologist”. She graduated with this thesis topic:
“Development and risk factors of maladaptive perfectionism in youths”.
In 2019, she got a second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Okan University and
receive a title as “Specialist Clinical Psychologist”. Her thesis topic was “The effect of
attachment and parenting style on behavior problems and perfectionism levels in school-aged
children”.
She has received training and supervision in Cognitive- Behavioral Therap (CBT) during
master’s degree. She is a member of Turkish Psychologists Association since 2015.
She did intership in “Bursa Özel İrem Special Education and Rehabilitation”, “Bursa Çekirge
Public Hospital”, “Dr. Süleyman Atabek Özel Child and Adolescent Psychiarty Clinic”,
“Erenköy Psychiatric Hospital” and “Uludağ University Hospital Psychiatry Clinic” during
undergraduate education and master’s degree.
