Endodontia: Just like our other organs our teeth has a circulatory system and a signal transduction system. The circulation happens due to the dental pulp, the deepest layer our teeth. Every treatment which has something to do with this layer is considered as endodontics and the most known one is the root canal operation. It is done by removing the dental pulp and cleaning the remaining necroes waste and the infected tissue. After that a special substance called artificial nerve fills the emptied areas.
Also, some planned treatments may require the support of the roots of the teeth. In this case the fibre post that is used for the roots, casted post, or the screwed post treatments are considered as endodontics.
